Understanding its land zoning when thinking to purchase a land

What is the land zoning for my land?

1. The address (of course, without the address, it is ot possible for us to track down all neccessary information about the potentials and restrictions of the land)
2. S149 Certificate, this certificate states all the possibilities and restrictions of your land under the local council.
3. Your idea - knowing what you want to do is critical, remember no project is too small and every project is unique.
What categories are there in Sydney council zonings?
Different councils name their categories differently, but the general ones are local housing, low density residential, medium density residential, multi dwelling zone, commerical, just to name a few.
